What Makes YRT Bearings Unique?

Standard bearings (deep groove, angular contact) cannot simultaneously handle large axial loads, radial loads, and tilting moments with high rigidity. The YRT series solves this with a three-row roller design:

Two axial roller rows (one for upward axial load, one for downward axial load)

One radial roller row (centered, for radial load)

Hauptmerkmale:

  • Ultra-High Rotational AccuracyYRT bearings are manufactured to ISO P4 (or P2) precision grades. Typical axial/radial runout is ≤ 0.003mm (3μm) for standard class, and ≤ 0.0015mm (1.5μm) for high-precision class. This ensures exceptional concentricity and repeatability for precision rotary indexing.

  • Excellent Rigidity Under Combined LoadsThe preloaded roller arrangement eliminates internal clearance, resulting in minimal elastic deformation under load. This high rigidity is critical for machine tools where cutting forces must be absorbed without losing positional accuracy. Unlike crossed roller bearings, the YRT’s three-row design offers even higher axial stiffness.

  • High Load Carrying CapacityBecause axial loads are split over two separate roller rows and radial loads are handled by a dedicated radial row, YRT bearings can support very high axial loads (up to hundreds of kN) and substantial radial loads simultaneously – all while maintaining precision.

  • Simplified Mounting Each YRT bearing has precisely spaced through-holes on both the inner and outer rings. You can directly bolt the bearing to your machine’s base plate and rotary table without designing complex housing geometries. This reduces machining costs and assembly errors.

  • Low Friction & Smooth RotationDespite the preload, the roller geometry and precision-ground raceways ensure low starting and running torque. This is essential for servo-driven rotary tables that require smooth motion at very low speeds (direct drive torque motors).
  • Long Service Life in Demanding EnvironmentsMade from through-hardened bearing steel or case-hardened steel (for larger sizes), YRT bearings resist wear and fatigue. Properly installed and lubricated, they can operate for tens of thousands of hours even under heavy cutting or indexing cycles.

Anwendungen
The YRT series is the first choice for any rotating application that requires high precision, high rigidity, and compact design:

  • CNC Rotary Tables – The most common application. YRT bearings directly support the table, providing zero backlash and high stiffness for milling and grinding operations.
  • High-Speed Milling Heads & Angular Heads – For precise angular positioning.
  • Measuring & Testing Equipment – CMM (coordinate measuring machines), gear testers, optical inspection turntables – where sub-micron accuracy is mandatory.
  • Medical Imaging Devices – CT scanner gantries, radiotherapy tables – require smooth, ruhig, and precise rotation.
  • Robotics – Joints of heavy-duty industrial robots (6-axis arms) and collaborative robot bases.
  • Radar & Antenna Positioning Systems – Weather radar, satellite communication antennas – need high moment stiffness and weather-resistant options.
  • Aerospace Assembly Fixtures – Indexing tables for drilling/riveting aircraft components.
  • Direct Drive Torque Motor Rotors – YRT bearings are often integrated directly into torque motor rotors for ultra-stiff, backlash-free rotary stages.
