The Johnny Joint offers 30 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction on standard-body units and up to 40 degrees on narrow-body units—significantly more than the 22 degrees typical of common Heim joints. This dramatic increase in articulation allows suspension systems to achieve maximum wheel travel without binding or limiting suspension performance.
