The AXK2542 is a single-direction needle roller and cage assembly designed to accommodate heavy axial loads and peak loads in one direction. With a 25mm bore, 42mm outer diameter, and only 2mm width, this bearing provides high axial stiffness within a minimum axial space. When installed between two hardened and ground machine surfaces that serve as raceways, it takes up no more space than a conventional thrust washer.
Up to 60 kN – Despite its 2mm thickness, the AXK2542 delivers a remarkable static load rating of 56.8–60 kN (approximately 6 metric tons). This load capacity makes it suitable for heavy-duty industrial applications where substantial axial forces must be supported in confined spaces.
Up to 14.8 kN – The bearing supports a dynamic load rating of up to 14.8 kN, making it capable of handling sustained axial loads during continuous operation.
The large number of needle rollers provides high axial stiffness, minimizing deflection under load. This rigidity is critical for applications requiring precise axial positioning.
Weighing just 7.0 to 8.2 grams, the AXK2542 adds negligible mass to assemblies—a meaningful advantage in weight-sensitive applications such as aerospace components and high-speed machinery.
Engineered for Durability – The combination of hardened bearing steel rollers, precision cage guidance, and robust construction delivers long service life even under continuous heavy-duty operation. The fatigue load limit of 5.50–6.95 kN ensures reliable performance under repeated stress cycles.
