Dimensions: 8mm inner diameter × 22mm outer diameter × 7mm width
Ring & Ball Material: Zirconia (ZrO?): High fracture toughness, excellent wear resistance, ideal for moderate to high loads
Density: Approximately 40–60% lighter than steel, reducing centrifugal force and allowing higher rotational speeds
Corrosion Resistance: Inert to most acids, alkalis, salt water, and solvents – will never rust
Electrical Properties: Non-conductive (excellent electrical insulation), non-magnetic
Full Ceramic Deep Groove Ball Bearing – Non?magnetic, electrically insulating, corrosion resistant, operable up to 1200°C. Self?lubricating, runs dry without oil or grease. Ideal for semiconductor, aerospace, medical, chemical processing, vacuum systems, and high?temperature furnace applications where steel bearings inevitably fail.
We offer Si3N4 full ceramic deep groove ball bearings in a wide range of standard sizes, including miniature series (down to 2mm ID), metric and inch dimensions, and large?diameter configurations. Custom retainer materials (PEEK, PTFE, PA66, full complement without cage) are available.
The 6205 hybrid ceramic deep groove ball bearing is lighter than steel balls, electrically insulating, and has a lifespan that is 3 to 5 times longer. It can withstand high temperatures and reduce friction.
Standard Specifications & Options:
Model: 6205 (Hybrid Ceramic)
Bore Diameter (d): 25 mm
Outer Diameter (D): 52 mm
Width (B): 15 mm
Ring Material: Chrome Steel
Ball Material: Black Silicon Nitride (Si3N4) – Ceramic
Standard Specifications & Options:
Sizes: Available in standard deep groove ball bearing series (e.g., 60-series, 62-series, 63-series) with bore diameters from small precision sizes up to common industrial dimensions.
Precision Grades: Offered in standard ABEC 1 (P0) up to higher precision grades (ABEC 3/P6, ABEC 5/P5) for applications requiring exceptional running accuracy.
Clearance: Standard radial clearance (C0, CN) is available; other clearance groups can be specified.
Seals/Shields: Options include open, steel shields (ZZ), or rubber seals (RS, 2RS) for contamination protection, though the choice of seal must account for the potential for higher speeds.
Dimensions: Bore: 9 mm, Outer Diameter: 24 mm, Width: 7 mm.
Full Material: Silicon Nitride (Si3N4) for all components.
Seals: PEEK cage
Operating Temperature: Withstands continuous operation from -60°C to over 800°C without degrading performance or losing pre-load.
Load Ratings: While excellent for its material, note that ceramic has lower load ratings than steel. Dynamic Load (Cr): ~1.8 kN, Static Load (Cor): ~0.9 kN. Its superiority lies in its environmental resistance, not pure load capacity.
